1. The short version
Mascot Design uses only cookies and browser storage that are essential or functional. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking of any kind. Because nothing we set is optional tracking, our cookie notice is an acknowledgement, not a consent form — there is nothing to opt out of.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser, sent back on later requests so the site can recognise you — for example, to keep you signed in. Browsers also offer local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to the server; we use it for preferences like your theme.

The Clerk cookies are set by our authentication provider on our domain and exist only to operate sign-in; they are not used for advertising or tracking.
4. Local storage we use

Local storage stays on your device; none of these values identify you or are shared with anyone.
5. What we do not use
- No analytics or measurement cookies (no Google Analytics, no session recording).
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social media pixels or embedded trackers.
- No fingerprinting.
If we ever introduce a non-essential cookie — for example a privacy-friendly analytics tool — we will update this policy first and, where consent is required, ask for it before setting anything.
6. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in, so the studio will not work without them; the marketing site and free demo remain usable. Clearing local storage simply resets your saved preferences.
